Watchmen

At first I really didn't know what to think of this movie. I knew it was based on a graphic novel and the guy that directed 300 was directing it but that was about it. After seeing this trailer in Quantum of Solace, I can say now that it is one of my most anticipated movies of the year.

Elf

Since its almost that time of the year, I thought I would give a shout out to one of my favorite christmas movies. Elf is just one of those movies that makes me smile whenever I'm in a bad mood.

Underworld 3

A prequel to the first two Underworld films. No Kate Beckinsale but this new girl will do.

Defiance

Last Samurai director meets James Bond. Can't Wait. Defiance.

The Dark Knight

Very excited about this one. The Dark Knight will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on December 9th. It's one of the best movies in at least a couple years. It raised the bar for comic book movies and action movies for that matter. 

X-Men Origins: Wolverine

   Nuff said...watch this.

Rock N' Rolla

   Guy Ritchie is looking like he made another awesome film. I loved Snatch and Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. This new one looks to be along the same lines. He is doing the gangster genre again and this time has enlisted the help of Gerard Butler (lead in 300). Rock N' Rolla is supposed to the first in a trilogy. Can't wait to see it.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

Not much to write about this one. Looks weird but also could be good. Just see for yourself in the trailer of the week...

Body of Lies

Just a quick post today...saw a trailer for the new Russell Crowe movie. It's directed by Ridley Scott. This marks the third (unless I'm missing one) Ridley film Crowe has starred in. It costars Leonardo DiCaprio. He has quickly become on of my favorite actors. He's done a good job of picking roles lately and making a break from the "teen heart-throb" typecast he got in Titanic.

Body of Lies looks to be another stellar movie from Ridley Scott, Crowe, and DiCaprio. 

Quantum of Solace (New 007)

I just saw the new Bond trailer during the premiere of JJ Abrams new show Fringe. It looks AMAZING. The first Daniel Craig Bond movie (Casino Royale) raised the bar and was easily the best ever made, in my opinion. 

Quantum of Solace looks even grittier and more action packed than Casino Royale. I have posted the trailer to the right and highly recommend viewing it. Before you go see it you must rent Casino Royale. Solace is supposed to pick up right where Casino left off. 

This is one of my most highly anticipated movies of the fall.
